This sounds like a wonderful book for high schoolers....lot of wonderful teen age angst!

Would this title be acceptable for middle-schoolers?
That reminds me of the movie Lakehouse where the main characters fall in love exchanging love letters although they are living in different times.
Sounds very much like a teenage girl's dream book. Too mushy for me, personally.

This book may be a little too mature for most middle schoolers, but high school and YA would really enjoy it.
Some of my middle school students are always requesting romance novels something to consider or perhaps something along these lines but appropriate for middle school.
